At Brighton Kids, we believe in creating an atmosphere for kids to experience God in a way they will never forget. There is importance in providing children with a solid foundation of biblical knowledge and teaching them how to develop a relationship with Christ. Brighton Kids is about cultivating fun, engaging, teachable moments focusing on Jesus and his love for us!
Our goal is that Brighton Kids would encourage students to discover a love for God and His Word!
Sunday mornings at Brighton Kids is the best place to be! We get to enjoy time together, play games, worship Jesus, and learn applicable lessons from his Word.
As students enter Kids Church on Sunday mornings, they will check in and join their friends for hang-out time until 10:45 AM!
At 10:50 AM, service begins! Students learn about the Big Idea of the day. The Big Idea ties into the Bible lesson later in the service!
Following the Big Idea is game time! Game time is different each week, but it usually consists of a team challenge or a Minute-To-Win-It game.
Next up is worship! Here at Brighton Kids, we love to incorporate upbeat, fast songs with motions that lead into worship!
Brighton believes in teaching kids the importance of giving! Our kids love to give to BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge) to reach the monetary goals they set together!
This leads into a slow worship and prayer time. Students can come to leaders to pray over their needs and worship.
After worship, students hear a Bible lesson that ties into the BIG IDEA of the day!
As a way to wrap up and reflect on what they learned, students will then gather into their small groups and discuss the Bible lesson. This is led by a leader who often prompts students with questions regarding the lesson or what they have learned.
Wednesday night means it's time for KIDS BLAST!! Kids Blast is Brighton's Wednesday night class for students K - 5th grade. Kids Blast is full of funky theme nights, fun game challenges, prizes, and above all else, engaging Bible lessons and worship time!
Students can check into Kids Church as early as 6:00 PM and joining their friends for hang out / game time!
Following hang out / game time, students will gather for devotional time that reviews what they learned on Sunday. This helps to solidify the student's understanding of the lesson and begin to apply what they learned to their life.
After devotional time, we encourage students to enter into a time of worship and prayer. Worship music plays as students are invited to take a moment to reflect on the devotional and experience the presence of God.
The evening concludes with group games and free time until pick-up! Our kids love to bond over basketball, board games, Mario cart, legos, and much more!!
Class for 3 & 4-year-olds is available on Sundays in the classroom next to the Kid's sanctuary.
A mini Bible lesson and activity that connects to the big idea is facilitated.
On Sundays, 3&4-year-old kids can enter the Kid's sanctuary as early as 9:45 AM! A worker will transition the 3&4-year-olds from the kid's sanctuary to their classroom at 10:45 AM.
